Abstract
Read the results of a 2008 nationally representative panel survey of new nurses who graduated between August 1, 2004, and July 31, 2005. RWJF funded study results show that new nurses feel they not adequately prepared by their nursing education to implement quality improvement programs. Study results were published by the Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety. Authors of this report are Christine T. Kovner, RN, PhD, Carol S. Brewer, PhD, RN, Siritorn Yingrengreung, RN, MSN, and Susan Fairchild, MPH, PhD.
