AARP has produced an analysis of the nursing-related provisions in the Patient Protection and Affordability Care Act. The analysis includes a look at:
- Education and other incentives to produce more nurses
- Increased demand for highly-skilled nurses
- Quality incentives that include or are relevant to nursing
- Other incentives, practice opportunities, and implications for nursing and consumers
- Boards, commissions, councils, and panels created by PPACA: opportunities for nurses and nursing advocates
The document can be accessed through AARP’s Eye on Nursing, here.
