RWJF Initiative on the Future of Nursing at the IOM February 2010 Forum Summary Released

The RWJF Initiative on the Future of Nursing at the IOM has released the workshop summary of the final Forum of its three-forum series. The February Forum, held at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, examined the challenges and opportunities associated with nursing education overall. A free, electronic version of the Forum summary can be downloaded from www.iom.edu/nursing. Download free summaries of the October 2009 Forum and the December 2009 Forum. Paper copies of all summaries are also available from IOM.

The IOM will use the perspectives and ideas summarized from the three forum summaries to inform a final report on the future of nursing, expected to be released in October 2010.
