Mary Naylor Appointed to Medicare Payment Advisory Commission
Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s National Program Director for Interdisciplinary Nursing Quality Research Initiative (INQRI) has been appointed as one of four new members of The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC), an independent Congressional agency established to advise the U.S. Congress on issues affecting the Medicare program. Naylor is the Marian S. Ware Professor in Gerontology and Director of the NewCourtland Center for Transitions and Health at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Naylor, a leading advocate of the Traditional Care Model, is featured in a CCNA blog on transitional care and in an NPR Morning Edition Story.
