He is a Registered Nurse

Gary Springer, RN, knows that he is still in the minority when it comes to his profession. But he’s not one to let that stand in the way of a career path that he sees, as a Dallas Morning News story reports, “opening up a thousand different doors.." Springer says a career in nursing is not just about patient care, but management, travel, flexibility, and specialization. The reporter for the story noted that  . . . we need more men as much as it needs more nurses like Gary Springer—“capable, compassionate people who are going to be ready to help all us baby boomers navigate the unfamiliar waters of aging and illness and, ultimately, death.”
