Join the National Patient Safety Foundation (NPSF) this week to celebrate and discuss patient safety—with focus on “empowering patients and strengthening patient-provider communications,… paramount to reducing error within the health system and reducing readmission rates.” According to NPSF President Diane C. Pinakiewicz, “Patient Safety Awareness Week underscores the needs addressed by national discussions on patient safety and emphasizes the value of collective effort and working together for making and keeping our health care system safe,”
