Title: Communications Project Specialist
Location: AARP Headquarters, Washington, DC
The Center to Champion Nursing in America (CCNA) seeks a dynamic, proactive, Communications Project Specialist to support our communications initiatives, specifically leading social media outreach and implementing communications technical assistance to state action coalitions across the country.
The ideal candidate has 3-5 years experience, preferably in an agency environment, communicating on health care issues; experience communicating through social media; exceptional verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills; a strong client services orientation; and the ability to work quickly and produce high-quality, accurate results.
The Communications Project Specialist is responsible for social media development planning and execution; day-to-day management of communications technical assistance to state coalitions; communications materials development; communications special projects; cultivating an online community of state coalitions; and coordinating communications-related meetings and events.
